Sydney's extraordinary Fleet Street/Cumberland Hospital heritage precinct has the potential for a World Heritage listing. However, the precinct is under threat from Parramatta's Light Rail project which will cut through the heart of the precinct.

And while the NSW government has promised to make this section of the route 'wireless’ and lay grass between the tracks, the overall cross-section and necessary infrastructure will still have devastating consequences - with historic buildings demolished, the signficiant heritage Moreton Bay figs near the bridge and mature Oak Trees on Eastern Circuit impactged and much of the historic vistas and botananic gardens lost, spoiling the opportunity for a World Heritage listing.

Join us on calling on the NSW government to modify the route before it's too late.  Simply sign & send this Petition.
